Artist Statement: Inspired by modern design I like to use bold colors, high contrast with strong graphics of solid colors, minimalism, and expansive negative space in most all my quilts. Materials & Techniques: The process of making my art quilts is a step into the future, using computer technology to create original designs on digitally printed fabric, integrating traditional quilt stitching to create texture and definition on the designs' surface. The top is made of custom digitally printed organic cotton sateen, with heirloom batting sandwiched in the middle, and organic cotton on the back.
