Artist Statement: I wanted to portray the illusion that a deep forest seems to go on forever, fading in the distance from sight.

Materials and Techniques: The branches were machine-appliquéd entirely by free-motion stitching, one at a time. No pattern or drawing was made before beginning. Machine-quilted with rayon threads.
