Artist Statement: What this silk collage represents to one person may symbolize something entirely different to another. My desire is that it captures your attention and speaks to you on some level; pause and let your mind wander. As time passes, its essence of meaning changes for me, the artist.

Materials and Techniques: This collage is hand-appliquéd, machine-pieced, machine-quilted. The organic luster of the colored silk gives off its luminescence in a variety of light levels.
