Artist Statement: Startled from a dream, feeling that I have been absent from my warm bed. Remembering but not quite remembering. Suspended between here and there. But what is this? My feet are dirty and my left pinky finger has a scratch. Hmmm.

Materials & Techniques: Cottons, cheese cloth, decorative threads, beads, oil paint sticks. Raw edge applique, embroidery, painting, foiling, free motion machine quilting. Beading.
